I'm not surprised. You and I share plenty of traits. One difference I see is you already made it to the Pacific. I got interfered with, but that is in the process of being corrected. I rise.

Re: Smart Living: How can I sway two Governors election on November 03rd 2009?
Just call me:
THE FLAW FINDER
The voting in of two Republican governors yesterday, one in New Jersey the other one here in Virginia, is being called in the News a "raging scream from the Voters" to return to sane governance from Republicans. Oh really? I reckon no one but me read the Paul Krugman article a couple days prior to the election where he wrote about how the Two-Party System is threatened by the election?
I've been searching for the link to the article because unfortunately I deleted my NY Times newsletter from my mail, and it's entirely possible I'm mixing up Krugman's name with another writer too, but I think what the NY Times does is when a writer is out for the day another writer jumps in his spot and fills it. Apparently doing this keeps the writer's name "hidden" out from the official NY Times columnist's credits list.
Is this an unintended flaw, or intended?
What writer would easily pass up a chance to write a stampede-instigating voter turnout and no one be able to find what he wrote later in the event some, I dunno, CRAZY chance somebody out here caught him in the act? Or perhaps an entire newspaper syndicate endorsing such a democracy-corrupting vile act against the U.S. Republic? I'm continuing to hunt down the article but the point is this is fear-mongering by NY Times' journalists -possibly with the NY Times help- to fear the Republican+Democratic voters into a Vote-Republican-or-Die-You-Snakes stampede, which if it was all working this way Paul Revere and a few others rolled in their graves last night.
One man hmm, can make a difference after all. A neat trick.

A neat trick.
A neat embedded trick.
A neat embedded racism-under-the-radar trick.
A neat derail the Obama / deflate impulse engine trick.
I see I'm not the only one running on an uneven track these days.
Two great white hope White Republicans won Governor's office yesterday.
ah ha. Corn cobs by a nose.

Re: Smart Living: How can I save money on my pet?
No one was surprised by me and Funkinjeff having the same birfday. It was right obvious a possibility. He met my energy with an equal but opposite energy. Like repels Like. I dunno, call me CRAZY but I wasn't surprised to hear it. We're irrevocably linked.
NOW the screaming really starts. Funkinjeff is full of my energy. Amazing, isn't it?

Re: Smart Living: How can I save money on my pet?
Not necessarily. His brain seems to work, so if he has my energy + a working brain he should be well off. But if he gets s*cked into making money for someone else, always working for the other man, then that would be my life... and that's nasty to contemplate someone else living my life, being underpaid (ripped off) by employers.
In which case I would have to advise him to do what I wanted to do but let the wife dissuade me from it, which was to buy a piece of land and never, ever pay someone else rent even if it meant living in a tent for a while. For once your time & labor goes to pay the other man's house payment for him, and pay the gifts under his tree for his children well, you've entered hell.
It doesn't seem to get better once you've played the game by the other man's rules.

Even Forrest Gump stopped running after a while. He was like Horatio Algier, made lots of $$$ even though he was rather retarded. A nice American Success story. Comes a time everybody sets down their hammer and calls it a day.

Re: Smart Living: How can I save money on my pet?
Apparently not, because then I would be another American success story. I must belong to some other column.

Re: Smart Living: How can I save money on my pet?
A big disappointment too because I rather thought I satisfied the retarded requirements. I guess hmm, I can't even succeed at being retarded.

Thinking that any one man can make a difference should have easily carried me over the finish line.

Re: Smart Living: How can I save money on my pet?
My eyesight in my right eye has gotten super sharp, while my left eye is pretty much blind I think or getting there. I see too many images, caused by concussions. The screaming sound has returned and is about as loud as it has ever been. Three weeks or so ago I mixed up a number of extra jugs of health tonic formula for several people who said they wanted some and would come over and get it.
It's a very powerful bioactive formula, darn fantastic, but they didn't pick it up so it sat in the refrigerator. Even though kept cold it was so bioactive it reacted anyway. The last jug I drank must have turned into a poison. I threw the last two out but I did some kind of major damage to my insides.
I've been dealing with that for two weeks. If it doesn't off me it will make me stronger.
